ACTOR Ricky Whittle, star of Sky One’s Dream Team football drama, has spoken of how he almost died after breaking his leg during a charity match against Bury fans. Ricky, who plays Harchester United star Ryan Naysmith, shattered his right leg in three places during a 50-50 challenge for the ball with the Bury goalkeeper Paul Osbourne, a pub landlord from Whitefield.
