OBI: My husband, Arinze, and I were a great couple. We’d been going out since I was 13 and he was 16. We went through Nigeria’s Biafran war together, then came to England and struggled together. We came here with great hope, but initially it was very difficult. We had nothing, knew nobody and I was expecting a baby. Arinze was studying to be a doctor, and I wanted to study nursing.
