Boro look to have lost out on West Ham winger Trevor Sinclair, who is on the verge of signing for Manchester City. Kevin Keegan appears to have won the battle to land Sinclair after tabling a #2.5m bid, which has been accepted by the cash-strapped London club. According to reports, Boro offered #2m for the England wideman, but the Hammers were intent on holding out for their #3m valuation.
