Description
Civil rights leader Rev. Jesse Jackson has been among the powerful influencers in my life for some 40 years. As a high school junior in Norfolk, Virginia, I remember attending an assembly in a jam-packed arena with thousands of other students listening to his inspirational message, which urged us to stay drug-free and focused on academic achievement.
